At New Day, we strive to provide accommodating and fair pricing for all of our services. We do the best we can to meet the needs of all of our clients at reasonable rates depending on insurance coverage, case load, and the rates of each of our team members.
Insurance Coverage
We currently only accept Partnership, Medi-Cal, and Medicare. Our services are also covered by California Victims of Crime Compensation Board. We can provide super-bills for you if needed, however, we do strongly suggest that you talk to your insurance company before hand. For any insurance inquiries feel free to contact us and ask about your insurance.
Private Pay
Our rates may vary for private payment based on the credentials and tenure of the team member seen. Couples counseling is always going to be private pay as insurance will not cover it. While we understand that some service prices will be steep, there are some cases where a licensed therapist is required and we have to assign those cases to those individuals and their rates.
General Ranges:
Individual Therapy: $75-$200 per session
Couples Therapy: $100-$ 200 per session
Forensic Psychological Services (Court-ordered therapy services): between $400 to $500 per hour depending of the level of training and education of the therapist.
Late Cancelation and No Show Fees
While we understand that sometimes things come up, we do need to cover our costs of operation. Each time a client does not show up for an appointment, there are operational costs gone to waste, as well as a slot that could have been filled by someone else. We charge the full cost of service for no shows and half the cost of a session for appointments canceled without at least 2 days notice. There is no charge for rescheduling an appointment if there are openings available. We will not charge in case of true emergencies, we just request that you explain the situation and try to let us know as soon as possible.
